Creative Futures Conference

The Creative Futures Conference kicks off the second weekend of April featuring an all-start lineup of speakers and activities that bring out the best of San Antonio’s trailblazers. Sweat it out in the park with Chastity Morales from The Yard Gym, learn about political branding with Democratic Candidate for Texas Governor Gina Hinojosa, and meet the local creators who are investing in downtown’s future at Sojourn Trading Co. San Antonio Book Festival

April 11th from 9am-5pm

Rounding out the packed weekend is the San Antonio Book Festival! The event features over 100 authors in nonfiction, romance, mystery, history, and more. Meet Mary Cobb, the author behind Netflix’s hit show, The Hunting Wives, get your book signed by Emmy-Award Winner and comedian, Jeff Hiller, and take your young reader to explore new books in H-E-B’s Children’s Gazebo. After you pick out your favorite books from Nowhere’s special pop-up shop, stop by the First Draft Beer & Wine Garden, shop through local vendors, and grab lunch from their variety of food trucks!

Bike Fiesta

Tuesday, April 14th from 5-9pm

Bike Fiesta is back on the Frost Paseo on April 14th from 5-9pm! Watch locals compete in bike polo with a margarita in your hand from Sojourn, shop curated vendors, and listen to a live band as the sun sets. Shine up your bike and ride over to the FREE event on Tuesday for the best time on two wheels.

Sunrise Social

Sunday, April 18th from 8am-3pm

Something new is coming to Legacy Park this month! Be the first to experience Sunrise Social a wellness and fitness focused event with the best DJ’s in town. Enjoy all the fun of a dance party, without the regret! Vendors for the event will feature massages from Casa Doson, permanent jewelry, blow dry bar, cold pressed juices, and boutique clothing. Party with the sunrise on April 18th, and take a dip in the pool at Intercontinental after for the perfect Saturday.

Fiesta De Los Spurs Run

Saturday, April 25th from 6:30pm-10pm

The 5th Annual Fiesta De Los Spurs Fun Run rolls into Downtown West. The 2.6 mile run will wind you through the Fiesta Flambeau parade route right before it starts. The party doesn’t stop when the run ends. Join the fun in Legacy Park after with a costume contest, prizes, live music, and special guest appearances! The race sells out at 1,500 runners, don’t wait and secure your spot today.
