September in Legacy Park

We’re celebrating the start of Hispanic Heritage Month with A Night of Music, A Legacy of Culture. Join us in the park on September 16th for a celebration of culture with the SAISD foundation. The event begins at 6:30pm and will feature mariachi performances by different middle and high school age groups and a grito contest!

Free Tuesday Yoga is back in the park on September 23rd, enjoy the fall weather on the lawn with classes until the end of October. Walk, ride your bike, or park your car in any city garage and enjoy free parking every Tuesday!

Alamo Music’s Guitar Wars

October 23, 6-10pm

At the center of Journey West is Alamo Music’s Guitar Wars! The longest running guitar competition in the United States is returning after a seven year hiatus in Legacy Park from 6pm-10pm. You still have time to enter for a chance to win prizes from Fender, Taylor Guitars, Fender, Martin, Yamaha Guitar Group, D’addario, and more. Submissions close on September 30th!
