Free Downtown West events to go to in March

Free weekly Tuesday yoga at 6:30pm

Spring yoga kicks off this month! Every Tuesday enjoy free yoga at 6:30pm. For the month of March, yoga will take place on the Frost Tower Paseo by Prose Nail Salon while the lawn in Legacy Park gets a much needed refresh. Come April, yoga will return Legacy Park and continue till the end of May.

The Glorious Diary of Herstory at La Zona

Centro San Antonio’s Art Everywhere Project presents The Glorious Diary of Herstory, a multidisciplinary exhibition bringing together artists Bria Woods, Sonya Rosario, and Barbara Felix. Through multiple mediums the exhibition centers women’s lived experiences, honoring storytelling as an act of care, resistance, and celebration. The opening reception on March 5th from 6-9pm will feature the first screening of the documentary and a panel talk with the artist, Bria Woods.

  • 4:00 PM – A Glorious Movement — Bodies in Joy, Voices Rising Performance presented by Barbara Felix

A Night of Music. A Legacy of Culture

SAISD’s A Night of Music, A Legacy of Culture, returns to the park March 24th at 6:30pm featuring live mariachi music from Brackenridge and Edison High School and dance performances from Bonham Academy’s Ballet Folklórico. Enjoy the music under the stars in Legacy Park!
